The street is dirt in composition, however power poles are evident. Street lights are evident. Horses and carriges are in the street. A store with an awning labelled "Wilmington Pharmacy" and another labelled Wilmington Pioneer appear on the left side of the street. A store with the awning proclaiming "Drugs" is prominent on the left side of the street, but further down. On the right side of the street, the Hay, Hardwick and Brown, Agents for the Banning Tract Choice Acreage building can be clearly seen. Horse and buggies, electric power lines, and the dirt street with mounds of sediment piled up are visible. It may be, from the appearances in the photo, that the time period is at the time when the stores are being brought down to street level and the conversion is in process. Sidewalks appear to be in the progress of being put into place.
