Methods for controlling the growth of microorganisms and / or biofilms in industrial processes

The present invention relates to a method of controlling a biofilm， removing a formed biofilm， and / or controlling the growth of microorganisms， preferably bacteria， in an aqueous environment of an industrial manufacturing process comprising a cellulosic fiber material. In the above method， a composition comprising a compound selected from the group consisting of 3-[(4-methylphenyl) sulfonyl] -2-propennitrile and 4-amino-N-2-thiazolyl-benzenesulfonamide is the method described above. It is put into the aqueous environment. The invention relates to a method for controlling of a biofilm， for removing of a formed biofilm and/or for controlling a growth of microorganisms， preferably bacteria， in an aqueous environment of an industrial manufacturing process comprising cellulosic fibre material.
