This study employs single - nucleus RNA sequencing to characterize rice node 1 at three distinct critical developmental stages. The study has two goals: first, to verify that there is no notable cellular heterogeneity among samples from these different stages, which is essential for ensuring the reliability of subsequent comparative analyses; second, to analyze the expression differences of the manganese transporter (MTP) family in rice node 1 across the aforementioned stages. The relevance of this study lies in that it helps to reveal the regulatory patterns of MTP genes in manganese transport, which is important for advancing our understanding of manganese homeostasis in rice and facilitating efforts to enhance rice's adaptation to manganese - related environmental conditions.
