Identification and characterization of novel small RNA species sdRNA

We describe a new species of single-stranded, DNA damage-associated sRNA (sdRNA), generated by a BRCA1/RNAi protein complex. These sRNAs participate in the formation of DNA repair complexes containing PalB2 and Rad52 that, individually, mediate site-specific, ssDNA break repair of the genes that encode these sdRNAs. These are the Illumina sequencing libraries used to both identify the existence of and characterize the effect of these sdRNAs.
