The axolotl kidney: a novel model to study kidney regeneration

To investigate whether axolotl could serve as a novel model organism for the study of kidney regeneration after severe renal injury. We established tubular injury model by intraperitoneal injection of gentamicin. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 5 different samples from Control or gentamicin-induced injury groups. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for 5 different axolotls from Ctrl or gentamicin-induced injury groups.
