Data for the study on environmental monitoring and equipment sanitation to mitigate Listeria risks in a soil-based controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) system

Environmental samples were collected within a soil-based controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) facility to evaluate Listeria contamination risks. Swab samples were taken from equipment, contact surfaces, and environmental zones following a standardized environmental monitoring protocol. Samples were enriched and analyzed for the presence of Listeria spp. and L. monocytogenes using ISO 11290-1:2017 methodology.
