Output models used for the analyses of "Light competition affects how tree growth and survival respond to climate" by Beauchamp et al. (2024).

Repository containing the growth and mortality model outputs (file named "output_params.xlsx") needed to reproduce the analyses from the paper "Light competition affects how tree growth and survival respond to climate" by Beauchamp et al. accepted by the Journal of Ecology in 2024. This repository also contains the input parameters for the 3D tree crown representation used to estimate the light intercepted by a single tree (file named "input_crowns.xlsx"). Metadata is provided in the repository for both datasets with the suffix "_metadata".

The pipelines for creating the calibration database, calibrating the growth and mortality models, and analysing the output parameters of the models are available in the GitHub repository: NatheoB/lightcompet_climate. Using the file "output_params.xlsx" stored in this repository, the reader can only reproduce the results RMarkdown in the part 3 of the Github repository (file named "3_Analysis/results.Rmd"), which corresponds to the use of the calibrated growth and mortality models to reproduce the statistical analyses and the associated graphics in the main manuscript of the study.
