ISIS@MACH - Single-crystal neutron diffraction of the MAPbBr3 perovskite
收藏资源简介:
Organometal halide perovskites of the family methylammonium (MA) lead halides, MAPbX3, are promising materials for photovoltaic applications, light-emitting diodes and photodetectors. While their macroscopic properties have been largely investigated, their structure and dynamics at the atomic scale are still a matter of study. In particular, MAPbBr3, less studied than its more common variant with I replacing Br, shows several crystal structures in the temperature range between cryogenic and room temperatures. While the structure and vibrational dynamics will be studied using light sources and X-ray diffraction, additional and unique information, especially on the role of hydrogen, can be gathered using neutron techniques. Thus we propose a study using a single-crystal neutron diffraction experiment to be performed using the SXD beamline at the ISIS through the Neutron Gate of ISIS@MACH.
