Salivary and lingual metagenomes [iNEST-S2-RT4.1.2]

Relative abundance profiles and sequencing depth metrics of the salivary (n = 188) and lingual (n = 228) microbiomes from an Italian adolescent cohort (aged 13–17 years). Shotgun metagenomic sequencing data were taxonomically profiled to kingdom-to-strain resolution using MetaPhlAn 4.2.4 (mpa_vJan25_CHOCOPhlAnSGB_202503). Profiles underwent contamination screening with the CROss-sample COntamination DEtection and Estimation of its Level (CroCoDeEL) pipeline before deposit. File structure: iNEST [S2-4.1.2].xlsx: Relative abundance profiles. Two sheets (Saliva and Lingual), each with taxa in rows and samples in columns. Reads [iNEST S2-4.1.2].xlsx: Sequencing metrics.
