Targeted metagenomic data from mock communities and pig faeces samples. Targeted metagenomic data from SeqOccIn project

Generating metagenomic data from a defined mock community is crucial to perform a benchmark of emerging sequencing technologies and downstream analysis on new metagenomic analysis tools, as well as metabarcoding, assembly and binning. We report a comparison of metabarcoding methods obtained on Illumina and PacBio sequencing platforms, including high and low throughput dataset. These datasets are obtained after PacBio hifi long read and Illumina short read sequencing of the mock community and on the pig faeces samples.
