Data set for Hi-Fi model validation

This dataset contains the experimental and simulated data used to validate the high-fidelity (HiFi) time-domain model of plunge centerless grinding described in [1] and implemented in the open-source package centergrindsim [2]. For 268 plunge-grinding tests performed on an industrial centerless grinder, it provides the process parameters, the workpiece roundness profiles measured before and after grinding at three axial sections, the final profiles simulated with and without grinding-wheel run-out, and summary indicators (roundness, dominant lobe order and amplitude, classification of the prediction). The design of experiments is described in [3].
