In the production process of this data set, agricultural carbon emissions data are calculated by carbon source coefficient method. The basic data are from China Population and Employment Statistics Yearbook, China Agricultural Statistics Yearbook, China Urban and Rural Construction Statistics Yearbook, Provincial Statistics Yearbook published on the websites of provincial statistics bureaus and China's economic and social big data research platforms; In agricultural science and technology innovation data, the three indicators of agricultural science and technology personnel, agricultural science and technology activity funding (R&D), and patent authorization numbers are also taken from the above data sources. The total area of household contracted farmland transfer is from the "China Rural Management Statistical Annual Report". In terms of processing methods, agricultural carbon emissions are calculated using the "Agricultural Carbon Emissions" worksheet, where the first row represents the coefficients of different carbon sources in each column, and the third row represents the carbon source data. By combining the two, agricultural carbon emissions data can be obtained; After selecting three indicators for agricultural technology innovation data, the entropy method is used to calculate the comprehensive index as the agricultural technology innovation index. The dataset covers multiple consecutive years (2007-2021) in time and nine provincial-level administrative regions in the Yellow River Basin of China (Shanxi Province, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shandong Province, Henan Province, Sichuan Province, Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province, Qinghai Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) in space. The time resolution is annual and the spatial resolution is provincial. Agricultural carbon emissions (10000 tons), cultivated land transfer area (1000 hectares), urbanization rate of permanent residents (%), proportion of local fiscal expenditure on agriculture to fiscal expenditure (%), use of agricultural diesel (10000 tons), total sowing area of crops (1000 hectares), rural education rate (%), per capita road area of townships (square meters/person), and degree of disaster (%) are all logarithmically processed.
