Time-series low nitrate stress response of Setaria italica. Setaria italica

Foxtail millet is one of the most resilient cereal crops with high nitrogen use effciency that can grow on marginal land with minimal agricultural inputs. To identifty the low nitrate responsive gene and reveal the molecular mechanisms underlying the barren tolerance, we detected the gene expression profile under 10 min, 30 min, 2 h, 8 h, 24 h and 72 h of low nitrate stress.
