Localization of XAC (Xenopus ADF/cofilin) in Xenopus fibroblasts. Immuno-EM with XAC antibody at high magnification. Low magnification view is available at CIL 24784. Nucleus and surrounding regions look bright because of high content of cellular proteins, which creates high electron density (brightness in inverted contrast). Immunogold-labeling in these central regions is very low. Image corresponds to Figure 10i from J Cell Biol. 1999 May 31;145(5):1009-26.
