16srRNA sequences of bacteria in saliva, Study of oral microbiome in Dental Disease Patients and Oral Healthy Patients

we sought to clarify whether oral microbiome profiles approach a healthy state or remain different after disease remission due to dental treatment. We obtained 16srRNA sequencing data of bacteria in saliva from periodontal patients, caries patients, and both to compare the salivary microbiome with that of healthy subjects before treatment, at the end of treatment, and several months after completion of treatment and transition to self-care.
