MVA for Incentive Zoning

The Mixed Income Housing Development Bonus (MIHDB) Market Value Analysis (MVA) map provides MVA categories for developments that require an MVA category verification as required in Section 51A-4.1105(a)(2) and/or in planned development districts that refer to an MVA category verification requirement. The MIHDB MVA map uses the city’s MVA map – which categorizes only residential property - and spatially extrapolates the analysis to categorize all of the city, including currently vacant and/or non-residential property. Legend: The MVA identifies nine market types (A through I) on a spectrum of residential market strength or weakness. The colors range from purple representing strong markets to yellow, representing weak markets.
