Birds (solo piano)

Birds is a work for solo piano, taken from the composer's first set of published works. Alongside its siblings (such as Dusk and Toccatina), Birds paints its own distinct image by imitating birdsong and situating it in contrastingly deep, resonant, and (sometimes) dark pianistic sonorities. Note: This work is published under the pen name Josh Taylor.
