By developing standard drawings for various drill-and-blast tunnel structures applicable to different highway grades and design speeds—where highway grades include expressways, first-class highways and second-class highways, and design speeds cover 120km/h, 100km/h, 80km/h and 60km/h. The cross-sectional dimensions are categorized into standard sections and sections matching the width of the highway subgrade, while the layout forms are divided into three types: ordinary separated tunnels, small clear-distance tunnels and twin-arch tunnels. This work achieves standardized design of highway tunnels, enhances design efficiency for survey and design institutes, and offers data support services for all participating construction units.
