资源简介:
These are counts of gypsy moths, Lymantria dispar, in pheromone traps and counts of egg masses. They were collected as part of a gypsy moth management program in portions of the central Appalachian Mtns. in Virginia and West Virginia. In VA, traps were placed on a quasi 2 km grid and in WV the traps were in a qualsi 3 kim grid. In certain locations (where isolated colonies were thought to exist based upon previous years trapping data) traps were put at much higher densities. These data exhibit a very strong trend - counts are very high to the northeast and low (mostly zero) in the southwest. This is because the trapping grid was located on the advancing front of the expanding range of this species. Data are formated as easting, northing, males/trap. Coordinates are in UTM values.
