Genome assembly of two non-haemophagous leech Whitmania acranulata and Whitmania laevis

The special life histories of the non-hematophagous leech species provide a super opportunity for understanding the evolution of antithrombotic related genes of leeches. Here, we provide a chromosome level genome of Whitmania acranulata and Whitmania laevis, and based which we identified all potential antithrombotic genes of the two species.
