PrEP Impact - Estimation tool

The PrEP Impact Tool has been specifically adapted for Latin America and the Caribbean and can be tailored for use in individual countries. It is a mathematical modeling resource and regional public good designed to identify the optimal annual growth rates in PrEP uptake required to impact reduction in HIV incidence and progress toward achieve HIV elimination goals. The model has been implemented in an accessible Excel format to ensure usability, clarity, and practicality for users at all levels of health planning within Ministries of Health. Designed to be flexible and country-specific, the tool allows adaptation based on each nation’s available data, prevention objectives, and local parameters. It enables users to simulate the potential impact of various HIV prevention interventions and explore how these interact with other along the HIV care cascade.
