Supplementary Data on Soil Microbial Communities, Nitrogen and Carbon Dynamics in Agricultural Systems

This dataset provides supplementary research data associated with the manuscript entitled "Wheat–pea relay intercropping strengthens linkages between soil microbial communities and carbon–nitrogen dynamics". The study was conducted under organic farming conditions in Lithuania during 2022–2024 and compared winter wheat monocropping, pea monocropping, and wheat–pea relay intercropping. The research investigated soil mineral nitrogen dynamics, labile carbon fractions, soil bacterial and fungal communities, crop productivity, and nutrient accumulation. The supplementary materials provide supporting information for the interpretation of soil biochemical and microbial responses to different cropping systems.
