This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the psychological aspects of teacher–student relationships in the primary education process. The age and psychological characteristics of primary school students are highlighted as important factors in their interactions with teachers. The influence of the teacher’s pedagogical communication, emotional state, and personal qualities on students’ psychological development is revealed. The importance of creating a positive psychological environment between teachers and students is substantiated. The impact of relationships based on trust, respect, and support on students’ learning activity during the lesson is demonstrated. In addition, the effects of negative relationships on students’ psychology and ways to prevent them are analyzed. It is emphasized that the teacher’s individual approach plays an important role in increasing students’ motivation to learn. Psychologically healthy relationships are shown to promote self-confidence and independent thinking in students. The article is of practical significance for teachers and students working in the primary education system.
