"This dataset contains 180 experimental measurements of laser ablation depth on ex vivo porcine bone under different irradiation settings. Each record corresponds to one trial and includes the number of pulses (pulse), the single-pulse energy in joules (energy), a bone type indicator (1 = cortical bone, \u22121 = cancellous bone), and the resulting ablation depth in micrometers (depth). The experiments cover 6 pulse levels (12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 96) and 3 energy levels (0.8, 1.5, 2.0 J) for both bone types, with 5 repeated trials for each (pulse, energy, bone type) combination. The dataset can be used to model and validate dose\u2013effect relationships (e.g., regression surfaces or machine-learning predictors) between laser parameters and ablation depth for different bone tissues."
