16s rRNA Microbiota sequencing of NAFLD model

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is one of the leading causes of liver transplant in the world. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of (1) dietary intervention with a high fish oil and cellulose diet or a low fat, low fiber diet and (2) microbiota transplant on a NAFLD-model. This study shows that microbiota transplant without dietary intervention does not resolve steatosis.
