Spore properties of the ΔywdL mutant in comparison to wild-type.

Wild-type and ΔywdL spores were tested for their resistance to temperature, ethanol and partition into hexadecane. Tests were carried out three times on each of two independent spore preparations for each strain, and the data averaged.
