Montado land cover mapping for 2018 in southern Portugal using visual interpretation of aerial photos. We mapped the montado landcover by updating the map published by Godinho et al. (2016). The minimum mapping unit was 25 hectares (ha) but GIS operations may have resulted in polygon areas smaller than this value.
