KYAPED Hydro-Enforced Breaklines Phase 1 (2010 - 2017)

Hydro-enforcementenables hydrologic and hydraulic models to depict water flowing under these structures, rather than appearing in the computer model to be dammed by them because of road deck elevations higher than the water levels. Hydro-enforced TINs also utilize breaklines along shorelines and stream centerlines, for example, where these breaklines form the edges of TIN triangles along the alignment of drainage features. LiDAR was collected at a 1.0 pointpost spacing for the entire project area while no snow was on the ground and rivers were at or below normal levels.
