Biodiversity exploratorie: ECTOMYC Nutrient hotspot experiment

5 types of nutrient hotspots: control, inorganic nitrogen, organic nitrogen, inorganic phosphorus and organic phosphorus. The nutrient hotspots were exposed in containers with net widths to which fungi but not roots had access. They were deposited in the VIPs soil in Schorfheide-Chorin (SCH, Northeast Germany), Hainich-Duen (HAI, Central Germany) and Schwaebische Alb (ALB, Southwest Germany) on the plot of the Biodiversity Exploratories. Samples were harvested after 6 and 18 months of exposure and take the soil samples at 10 cm belowground closed to the containers, simultaneously.
