Modeled metastatic prostate cancer incidence

This dataset contains metastatic prostate cancer incidence rates per 100,000 for men ages 50-84 years in the United States over the period 1975-2025 projected by two models: the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center ("FHCRC") and University of Michigan ("UMICH") models. Projections over the period 1975-2012 were based on calibrations of the models using prostate cancer incidence data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results program and a reconstruction of historical screening practices. Projections over the period 2013-2025 were generated under two scenarios ("Runtype"): (1) a continuation of historical screening practices ("continued") and (2) a complete discontinuation of screening beginning January 1, 2013 ("discontinued").
