Myanmar (2006): HIV/AIDS Baseline Tracking Survey MSM and MSW from Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar

In September 2004, PSI Myanmar established a drop-in centre for MSM in Yangon, and six months later opened one in Mandalay to better reach this target group. The objectives of this study were to: 1) gain comprehensive and detailed data for informing PSI's targeted out-reach program; 2) identify key determinants associated with consistent condom use during anal sex; and 3) obtain baseline information for monitoring key indicators, behavior change, behavioral determinants, and exposure to PSI's interventions.
