EduIDEAtor Survey: Perceptions of an LLM-based idea development tool

This dataset contains anonymised survey responses from 16 participants who interacted with EduIDEAtor, an LLM-based tool for early-stage project and research idea development. The survey captures academic level, data science and AI experience, perceived usability and clarity, engagement and creativity, comparative evaluations against traditional brainstorming methods, preference for future use, and overall satisfaction. The dataset can be used to study user experience with generative AI tools, to teach survey-based evaluation methods, and to explore how background variables relate to attitudes toward AI-supported idea development.
