Reduced representation bisulfite sequencing of caudal fin Zebrafish

Reduced representation bisulfite sequencing (RRBS) of caudal fin tissue from known age and sex of zebrafish (Danio rerio).\nLineage: Zebrafish (AB strain) were bred and maintained at the Western Australian Zebrafish Experimental Research Centre (WAZERC). Animal ethics was approved by the University of Western Australia animal ethics committee (RA/3/100/1630). Animals aged between 11.9 to 60.1 weeks were euthanized using rapid cooling. Once deceased all organs and tissues were collected and stored into RNAlater (Thermo Fisher). DNA from caudal fin tissue was extracted using the DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit (QIAGEN) as instructed in the manufacturer’s protocol. A total of 96 educed representation bisulfite sequencing (RRBS) libraries were prepared as previously described with digestion of the restriction enzyme MspI (Smallwood et al., 2011) at the Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF) and were sequenced using an Illumina NovaSeq.\n\nSMALLWOOD, S.
