Whole genome Illumina HiSeq sequence of ciprofloxacin-resistant Escherichia coli isolates from vegetable

Fresh vegetables have a close association with foodborne disease outbreaks, ciprofloxacin-resistant Escherichia coli isolates from vegetables were characterized in details through whole-genome sequencing. The results highlight the importance of monitoring of foodborne pathogens in fresh vegetables.
