Usability Test PV1000 GUI

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, volunteer scientists at RWTH Aachen University began to develop a ventilator that could be built with parts that were quickly available at the time, but could still fulfil the functionalities required by an intensive care unit. In this context, an interface between the device and the medical staff using it had to be developed. This interface was initially designed in consultation with a number of medical experts and then evaluated as part of a study so that it could be improved based on the feedback. This data set contains the instructions and questions for the study, the raw data of the study participants' responses and the processing of these results. The study was conducted in the period from 06/07/2020 to 31/07/2020.
