Cancer ward bed numbers in China 2021, by province

In the past decade, the number of beds in cancer wards in China increased by around 100 percent, exceeding 270,000 in 2021. The capacity and quality of cancer treatment services can vary significantly between regions. Provinces of Henan, Shandong, and Jiangsu all had more than 20,000 cancer ward beds. In contrast, autonomous regions of Ningxia and Tibet had the fewest oncology ward beds, with Tibet only equipped with 42 beds in cancer wards.

在过去十年间，我国癌症病区床位数量增长了约百分之百，至2021年已超过27万。不同地区癌症治疗服务的容量与质量存在显著差异。河南、山东和江苏等省份的癌症病区床位数量均超过两万。相较之下，宁夏和西藏等自治区拥有最少的肿瘤科病房床位，其中西藏的癌症病房床位仅有42张。
