Matrine-incorporated chitosan active biofilms with enhanced barrier and antimicrobial properties for postharvest fruit preservation
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the original experimental data supporting the findings of the study titled "Matrine-incorporated chitosan active biofilms with enhanced barrier and antimicrobial properties for postharvest fruit preservation." The dataset includes 10 sheets with the following experimental measurements: 1. Mechanical properties: Tensile strength (TS), elongation at break (E%), and Young's modulus of chitosan films with varying concentrations of acetic acid, alkali, and citric acid. 2. DPPH antioxidant assay: DPPH free radical scavenging activity . 3. ABTS antioxidant assay: ABTS free radical scavenging activity . 4. Moisture content: Moisture content of film samples after drying. 5. Water solubility: Water solubility of film samples. 6. Water vapor permeability: Water vapor permeability of film samples. 7. Cytotoxicity assay: Cell viability of films against CPT (20 μg/ml) at concentrations of 0, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 mg/ml. 8. Thickness: Thickness measurements of film samples (20% and 30% acetic acid control and sample groups). 9. E. coli growth curve: Optical density (OD) measurements of E. coli cultured with film samples at different time points (0-10 h). 10. S. aureus growth curve: Optical density (OD) measurements of S. aureus cultured with film samples at different time points (0-10 h). All experiments were conducted at Huaiyin Institute of Technology. Data are organized in Microsoft Excel format with detailed annotations. Raw data and calculated mean values are both included.
