资源简介:
This dataset contains all supporting data for the research article titled "Study on the blood glucose regulation function of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum NXU0011 bacterial powder" (submitted to the Journal of Applied Microbiology). The study comprehensively evaluated the anti-diabetic effects of the probiotic strain NXU0011 using a combination of in vitro assays and a high-fat diet/streptozotocin-induced type 2 diabetic mouse model, integrated with multi-omics analyses. The dataset is organized into the following primary components:In Vitro Assay Data: Raw and processed results for the bile salt tolerance test, and the inhibitory activities against α-amylase and α-glucosidase.Animal Phenotypic Data: Longitudinal measurements including body weight, fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose, oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) results, and area under the curve (AUC) calculations. Biochemical indices such as fasting insulin (FINS), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and lipid profiles (TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C) are also included.Metagenomics Data: This includes:Processed species abundance tables (at multiple taxonomic levels) used to generate Figures 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 in the manuscript.Alpha diversity indices (e.g., Shannon index) and Beta diversity coordinates (PCoA, NMDS).Results from LEfSe analysis highlighting differentially enriched species (e.g., Bifidobacterium animalis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Akkermansia muciniphila in the HLP group).KEGG pathway annotation and abundance tables for functional analysis.Metabolomics Data: This includes:Processed peak intensity tables from LC-MS analysis (both positive and negative ion modes).Lists of significantly differentially abundant metabolites identified in comparisons between key groups (DM vs CN, HLP vs CN, etc.), as summarized in Table 5 and associated figures.Multivariate statistical analysis results (PCA, OPLS-DA scores, permutation tests).KEGG pathway enrichment results for differential metabolites (Tables 6 and Supplementary Tables).Integrated Analysis Data: Spearman correlation matrices used to generate the association network (Figure 13), linking specific gut microbiota species with altered host metabolites.File Formats: Data are provided in commonly accessible formats including  (Excel) for phenotypic and analysis results,  or  for abundance and metabolite tables, and  for supplementary figures..xlsx.txt.csv.pdfThis dataset provides the complete evidence supporting the conclusions that L. plantarum NXU0011 alleviates diabetic symptoms by modulating gut microbiota composition, host metabolism, and related pathways. It serves as a valuable resource for researchers interested in probiotics, diabetes, host-microbe interactions, and multi-omics integration.
