Host effects of an Integrative and Conjugative Element. Pseudomonas putida KT2440

We aim to study effects of an Integrative and Conjugative Element (ICE) on a host during horizontal transmission. To this end, we analyze genome-wide transcriptome differences in Pseudomonas putida strains carrying wild-type or mutant ICEclc under conditions activating ICE horizontal transfer, and in fluorescence-assisted-sorted populations of the active and non-active cells.
