In this study, we used Illumina sequencing technology to determine differences in microbial community composition and diversity between a primary forest and a macadamia plantation.Therefore, our study aimed to reveal whether there are significant differences in soil bacterial and fungal community composition and diversity between forests and plantations derived from them; whether the composition and richness of soil bacterial and fungal communities will be different after forest conversion of plantations; and the main environmental factors associated with conversion of forest to plantation soil bacterial and fungal communities.
