This data consists of 25752 records derived from 63 tows covering 36.114 km at 1.40m resolution, over a depth range of 18.1 to .9 meters. Classification of the benthos and substrate was based on 17 benthic classes and 6 substrate classes.\n\nSummary of the primary benthic categories recorded\nGorgonians 0.99%\nHard Coral 11.58%\nMacroalgae 7.78%\nNoBenthos 39.83%\nOther 23.50%\nSeagrass 16.32%\n\n\nSummary of substrates recorded\nMud 23.24%\nNoSub 0.88%\nRock 13.64%\nRubble 0.64%\nSand 25.38%\nSandCoarse 1.45%\nSilt 27.55%\nSludge 5.92%\nStone 1.30%\n\nA custom interface has been developed by AIMS staff for reading Towed Video tapes.
