Independent genetic mapping experiments identify diverse molecular determinants of host adaptation in a generalist herbivore

The goal of this study was to explore the genetic basis of host plant adaptation in a generalist herbivore, Tetranychus urticae. Through extensive phenotyping of fitness-related traits, alongside genomic selection and transcriptomic analyses, we uncovered QTLs linked to host-driven selection and performance.
