Studies of nitrifying bacteria in karst water system

This study is based on the analysis of hydrological and hydrochemical data, as well as bacterial community structures and the abundance of functional genes during rainfall events. The linking combined bacterial community and hydrological characteristics after rainfall events in the typical karst water system will be discussed. It will elucidate the environmental factors that influence nitrification and denitrification. The results can be used to provide theoretical guidance for pollution prevention and control in karst areas.
