This dataset supports a study, which proposes a scalable methodology to evaluate the vulnerability of road networks to flood-induced disruptions. The methodology combines publicly available geospatial data, flood hazard maps, and macroscopic traffic simulation using SUMO (Simulation of Urban Mobility) to assess the network-wide impact of bridge closures. The case study focuses on the Alessandria province in Northern Italy, a flood-prone region intersected by major motorways and rivers.
