These instances appeared in the context of row layout problems. Let n be the number of facilities in the problem. The first set of instances contains: * 10 instances with n=9; * 10 instances with n=10. The second set of instances contains: * 6 instances with n=11; * 6 instances with n=12; * 6 instances with n=13. The instances Am12a, Am12b, Am13a and Am13b were introduced in: Amaral, A.R.S.
