Emission factors and carbon (radiocarbon and stable carbon) isotope data for particulate matter produced in combustion experiments and captured on filters on 8 boreal and arctic peat, and boreal forest surface and savanna biomasses. The resource includes observed emission factors (g/kg) of elemental and organic carbon, radiocarbon and stable carbon isotope measurement data, short-wave solar spectrum weighed Brown Carbon (BrC) attenuation fraction (%) and Absorption Angstrom Exponent (AAE) for the overall sample and BrC data, and data on the composition and moisture content of the biomasses used in the combustion experiments.
