We reported the effect of gama-flicker light on genome-wide translation of mRNAs in the retina for aged mice. We demonstrate that gama-flicker light up-regulates mitochondrial function, as well as chaperone mediated protein folding, and down-regulates excitatory neurotransmission in retinal transcriptomic level for aged mice. These processes may play the crucial roles in improving aging features following gama-flicker light treatment.
