We hypothesized that the gut microbiome composition in a syngeneic CRC mouse model could be regulated under various conditions, such as sex, anti-PD-L1 antibody or E2 treatment. To verify this hypothesis, this study focused to investigate the gut microbiome as a potential biomarker regulated by anti-PD-L1 antibodies and/or E2 in the MC38 colon cancer mouse model.
