To obtain a global view of the microRNAs expression during ageing, the wild type worms of C. elegans at day 1, day 7 (around the end of reproductive period), day 14, and day 21 (around the mean lifespan) were subjected to small RNA-Seq. MicroRNA profiles of wild type worms at day 1, 7, 14, and 21 of adulthood were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate.
