METHOD FOR TREATING A FIBER-CONTAINING MATERIAL USING A DUST BINDING AGENT AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD

The invention relates to a method for treating a fiber-containing material， preferably hay or straw， using a dust binding agent， the method comprising the following steps: - providing a fiber-containing material containing dust particles; - loosening the fiber-containing material; and - spraying a dust binding agent， which comprises an aqueous-based film former， on the fiber-containing material， wherein the dust binding agent is atomized to form droplets， dust particles are bound to fibers of the fiber-containing material and/or a cluster formation of the dust particles is favored. The invention also relates to a corresponding device.
